Drop-off, pickup, and boarding charges
Plan arrivals and departures within the public windows below.
Public drop-off and pickup windows
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00–11:00 a.m.
3:00–6:00 p.m. - Saturday
- 9:00–11:00 a.m.
3:00–6:00 p.m. - Sunday
- 3:00–6:00 p.m. only
The kennel is closed to the public midday so attention can remain focused on the animals in its care.
How boarding charges work
- Boarding charges begin on the first day regardless of arrival time.
- Each additional daily charge begins at 11:00 a.m.
- Sunday boarding is charged only when a pet remains overnight after the applicable minimum has been met.
- Summer weekends and holiday weekends have a two-day minimum charge.
Vaccination requirements
Owners are responsible for providing current vaccination documentation.

Vaccinations should be completed at least 72 hours before boarding.
Food and medication
Clear labels and instructions help the kennel follow the care information provided for your pet.
Food
- Owners are strongly encouraged to bring their pet’s normal food.
- Bring only enough food for the stay.
- Label food with the pet’s name and feeding amount.
- House kibble may be supplied for $1 per meal when needed.
- Feeding generally occurs during closed hours around 2:00 p.m.
Medication
- Prescription medication may be administered when supplied by the owner.
- Provide clear medication instructions.
- Disclose relevant medication needs and special-care information before check-in.
Belongings
A small familiar item may help a pet adjust, subject to the available space.
- A small bedding item or toy may be brought to help a pet adjust.
- Bedding is limited by available run or unit space.
- Beanbags are not allowed.
- Label belongings with the owner’s last name.
- Two Girls Kennel is not responsible for lost or damaged belongings.
Cancellation notice
Please notify the kennel promptly when plans change.
Required notice
- Off season: at least 48 hours.
- Summer season and holidays or holiday weekends: at least 72 hours.
- The summer season runs from mid-June through Labor Day weekend.
When a reservation is not canceled within the applicable notice period and other pets were turned away, a two-day minimum charge may apply. That amount may need to be paid before another reservation is made.
Health and safety
Share health and care information before check-in so the kennel can review your pet’s needs.
Fleas and ticks
Pets must arrive free of fleas and ticks. A pet may be refused boarding when fleas or ticks are found before check-in. If they are discovered after check-in, treatment may be required and additional charges may apply. Treatment may also need to address surrounding pets and the premises.
Health and illness
- Pets must meet current vaccination requirements.
- Disclose medical conditions, physical limitations, medication needs, and special-care information before check-in.
- Pets showing signs of illness may be refused boarding.
- If illness develops during a stay, the kennel will attempt to contact the owner and the veterinarian on record.
- Emergency veterinary care may be sought when necessary.
- Veterinary expenses remain the owner’s responsibility.

Dog bath policies
Current bath services are for dogs and are available by appointment and availability.
- Current services are limited to baths and simple brush-outs.
- Full grooming and de-shedding blowouts are not offered.
- Ear cleaning and nail trimming are included with a bath.
- Nail trimming may be skipped when attempting it would cause excessive stress.
- Bath pickup occurs during afternoon pickup hours.
- The normal 11:00 a.m. boarding checkout does not apply when a dog receives a bath on its departure day.

When can I drop off or pick up my pet?
Public windows are Monday–Friday from 8:00–11:00 a.m. and 3:00–6:00 p.m.; Saturday from 9:00–11:00 a.m. and 3:00–6:00 p.m.; and Sunday from 3:00–6:00 p.m. only. Holiday hours may differ as listed above.
Why is the kennel closed midday?
The kennel is closed to the public midday so attention can remain focused on the animals in its care.
What vaccinations are required?
Dogs require current rabies, distemper/parvo combination, and Bordetella documentation. Cats require current rabies and FVRCP/combination documentation. Vaccinations should be completed at least 72 hours before boarding.

What happens if my pet has fleas or ticks?
A pet may be refused boarding when fleas or ticks are found before check-in. If discovered after check-in, treatment may be required and additional charges may apply, including treatment involving surrounding pets or the premises when needed.
What is the cancellation policy?

What forms of payment are accepted?
Payment is due at checkout. Cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and debit cards are accepted. Personal checks are not accepted.
Are baths available for cats?
No. Current bath services are for dogs and are available by appointment and availability.
Does submitting the booking form confirm a reservation?
No. Submitting a request does not confirm a reservation. Two Girls Kennel will follow up regarding availability and details.
